Queens Crescent Market in Camden is a lovely community market with a long history. Somewhat overshadowed by Camden Market itself, the local community are keen to see Queens Crescent Market garner some of the spotlight. The Christmas Fair on 28 November is building momentum with a lot of energy provided by the traders themselves and with the support of the Council. I am not keen on shopping generally, but I do love markets. I have in fact been looking for a nice market to promote and sell my books and fell into conversation with Dorothy of @doti_s_bloomin_creations/Instagram. Thanks to Dorothy’s commitment to the local community, this has led to an invitation to read from some of my children’s books at the Queens Crescent Library and my books are now on sale in the market. So exciting!
